Creating
the right acoustic environment for recording our "prime
voices" has been our biggest investment. Our
sound studios are our greatest technical asset.
When you hear our recordings you will understand
why we are so proud. The UK specialist in acoustic
design Studio People, has built three recording
studios for us. Our control rooms and booths are
not only great looking and modern, but fulfill
the most demanding requirements: the best possible
acoustic environment in the control rooms for sound
reproduction and the isolation booths sounding
perfect for
voice recording.

Each of the three
studios features unique architecture specially
created for the finest sound reproduction.
Floating walls and padded ceilings along with an
irregular shape combined
with bass traps and special soundproof windows
and doors create the right environment
for sound monitoring.
In the production and
post-production areas, we use ProTools HD with
high-end preamplifiers and Neumann microphones
to get the most out of our voices, including
the warm vocal tone of the vintage
tubes used in our Millenia Pre-amps.

Each
booth is surrounded by an empty space of 30 cm
to isolate it from any outside noise and
features room within
a room construction with thick acoustic doors
and special windows sealed around the edges with
rubber.
Damping materials within the floating walls,
thick carpet on the floor and padded tables
absorb reflections and create a neutral sound
with the perfect
ambiance for voice recording. Air ducts feed A/C
to the interior through a series of buffers
providing a non audible fresh air flow for
the comfort of the voice talents inside.

Using the
same ProTools & Pinnacle Avid configurations
we can transfer any sound or video project between
our three in-house studios. Thanks to our Bantam
racks interconnecting the three studios, we can
record in Studio 1 the voices in Booth 3. Or we
can monitor the recording session in Studio
2 from the control room of Studio 3. Our Cat
6 network LAN enables a high-speed transfer of
files and complete sessions among the three studios.
Our Dell servers with over 3 Tera capacity
allow a safe back-up of projects for the benefit
of clients, who can access
their finished files immediately after production
thanks to a secure FTP protocol. Each client
has their own Prime Voices archive
for quick uploading and downloading of audio
or video files. Using his account space, a
client can send us a
copy of the master video for us to use in a dubbing
of voice-over session. We will deliver the
localized video through that same private facility.

Integrated
Services Digital Network or ISDN makes
it possible
to monitor and direct in real time our
talents at
Prime Voices. If you are a studio or media center
and have ISDN lines you can also record in
high resolution from our studios, thanks to
a simultaneous remote connection.
Using ISDN allows us to access some remote talents
and partner studios, with great sound and full
direct control of the project. ISDN and
IP audio recording give us real-time
worldwide coverage, providing our clients with
voicing services in virtually any language. We
use Audio TX, an ISDN Audio Codec which
can also send and receive live audio over any
IP network. For
